Curriculum


The Paradise Residential School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The School prescribes to the curriculum of the Council, which in turn adopts a vibrant curriculum as per the guidelines of the National Education Policy.

The ICSE syllabi is detailed and comprehensive with adequate importance being accorded to communicative skills in English and proficiency in the subjects being learnt.

The syllabi envisage to create citizens that are smart in academics and in life; being ready to meet the challenges of the evolving life.

The detailed study of every subject helps the students to gain in-depth knowledge leading to qualities of diligence.

The subjects of Study differ according to the stages in the education of the students, prescribed by CISCE / Government.

Examinations


The School prepares the students of the School from Grade to Grade for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) at the completion Grade X.

Students have continuous evaluation with assessments conducted at regular intervals. There are two unit tests and two terminal examinations. All tests and examinations have components of internal tests, projects and marks.

Academic Year


The Academic Year normally commences in May / June of every year and concludes in March / April.

There are holidays and vacations as per School Calendar, which is prepared in line with the holidays and vacations as per the regulations of the Government / CISCE.

We have been working diligently to establish a curriculum that will bring a positive and dynamic change in the personality of the students. We create an environment that is not only academically stimulating but also allows our students to discover themselves through a wide array of extracurricular activities and vocational and life skills.
